Paint, Paint and More Paint!

Visited the site at 7 AM today and things are happening....PAINT, PAINT and more PAINT. The painters are busy and have been for several days. I have taken photos of several rooms that have the texture already applied. You will also see that there has been a lot of sheet rock completed in the chapel and the cultural hall area.

Storing materials any place possible if it comes early. Always looking for room to store supplies.

The vent covers on the left and right were shipped in the wrong size so they are waiting for the arrival of new ones to install them.

This was nasty smelling stuff they were spray painting!
Stayed long enough to snap pictures and leave!

Getting Ready To Prime and Texture

Today the construction people are continuing to work on sheet rock installation, taping door and window frames etc, to get ready for priming the wall and ceiling surfaces prior to adding texturing. They do not want to have to clean all of the primer off of frames etc so taping is done prior to the application of primer.

Miles and miles and miles and miles of tape!

I took annual leave yesterday and today from work. This morning about 9:30 a.m., I drove down to the chapel site and took a few photos of the exterior and more of the interior. It is amazing how much taping of sheet rock has been done by a three-man team in less than 24 hours.
