Amazing to hear it takes 1600 tons of asphalt to do the parking lot. The paving machine broke down this morning and so things have stopped while another machine comes, in about an hour. Two layers that are about an inch and a half each make up the parking lot. Lighting is also being installed outside. More later.
This blog has been created to provide Cashmere and Wenatchee area residents a look at the ongoing construction of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel being built on Easy Street in Wenatchee, Washington.

Outside & Inside, Things Are Getting Done!
One week without photographs makes one weak, so here are some as of this morning. They started installing carpet last Thursday and finished yesterday. Amazing. Did not want to get under foot, so stayed away until completed. The chapel exterior areas around the building on the north, south, east and west are being completed. Electrical is still on-going. Water fountains have been installed. All of the hanging doors that divide rooms will be installed soon, now that the carpeting is down.... that really feels good under your feet. Pews will be installed next week. All in all things are getting closer.
